Abigail

Abigail is a short, wordless comic/graphic novel about a girl in a surreal, dream-like space. It aims to capture the essence of life and the emptiness of a fictional, macabre, dystopian world, conveying an environment where flesh meets structural elements. This project features Abigai, an unknown girl with no clear background, and a black cat, as they are placed on a never-ending path of a floating loggia. For this project, I want to explore how there is still beauty within the damned. Even in this world of emptiness, what’s actually holding it together is her own flesh she finds comfort in—a life within death.
